The 2026 MODS-UNFPA Summer Seminar on Population will consist of three consecutive one-week courses.

Details on the specific course themes and instructors will be announced in due course 

and the program is expected to include Analysis of Demographic Data with GIS and Event History Analysis.

The courses are scheduled as follows:

• ​Week 1: June 29 (Mon) – July 3 (Fri), 2026
• Week 2: July 6 (Mon) – July 10 (Fri), 2026
• Week 3: July 13 (Mon) – July 17 (Fri), 2026

All courses will be conducted in English and will include hands-on training, with a total of 25 hours per course.

Registration is expected to open in Spring 2026. 

※ To ensure effective hands-on exercise, each course will be limited to approximately 30 participants. 

Please note that participation is free of charge and successful participants will be responsible for their own travel, accommodation, and personal expenses.​
